The One, True God – Part V



In the beginning,

Law, with its absolute rule,

sets all worlds spinning.



What being can draw

is, like new yarn from a spool,

the Order of Law.



The fabric of space

is an infinitely fine

texture for time’s trace.



So things won’t ravel,

time gives space support and spine

with points that travel.



Beyond two exceeds

the total body number

that all being needs.



N-body problems

would no longer encumber

more than two of them.



With two point masses,

cycling and orbiting

through all time passes.



Evolution asks,

“What could be inhibiting

accomplishing tasks?”



When no answers come

to our small and narrow minds,

we just make up some.



Even in events

when “knowledge” deafens or blinds,

“fact” rarely relents.



What we “know” gets strange,

later on down the winding path,

after our facts change.



There’s no perfect book,

from common grammar to math,

anywhere we look.



Even the Bible,

held against another man,

could be some libel.



Truth about “knowledge”,

the Order of Law began

long before college.



Peril is neglect

of the whole truth about Law’s

ultimate effect.



The world shall depend

on fortune’s ultimate cause,

or it may just end.



To stay final fate,

we’ll find purpose and meaning

before it’s too late.



To keep civil man

from vengefully careening,

we must draft a plan.



To avoid some trap

deployed by fate’s zombie slaves

we’ll need a good map.



To really see how

the Order of Law behaves

observe closely now.



The present reveals

an evolving creation

everyone feels.



The actions of all

involve communication

in nature’s wild call.



Someone speaks or thinks

about some fiction or fact

to create some links.



No matter what age,

people fret and strut to act

well up on the stage.



When we recognize

true worth in common effort,

we will organize.



True satisfaction,

far beyond some mere comfort,

Most problems we’ll solve

when we can evolve.



Some divine being

our destiny may condone

could be worth seeing.



We can evolve, still,

though we’ve made many mistakes

with hopes and goodwill.

closer to divinity,

a god’s name is earned.



Against all the odds

The monuments were resurrected in countries abroad.

The crumbling ruins were left for gaping tourists to ponder

What can happen when man turns to god.

It was a Friday afternoon, and Kathy was having possibly one of the best days she could ever remember in Mill Will Highschool. She aced her biology exam, was elected as President of the National Honor Society, and had also made the cheerlead squad. All of Kathy’s friends were able to notice how blithe she was today, as she strut the cacophonous hallways with a big grin. Everything was going perfect for her until Tim appeared.

Kathy had an aversion towards Tim. She considered him as a bizarre buffoon who was always looking for ways to belittle others accomplishments and self-esteem. He made his so called “peers” think low of them by picking out their flaws in public for the world to hear which, ironically, in turn, made him feel good. Tim was a part of one of those “cool” guy cliques, who loved to order the people around into doing what they wanted them to do. Kathy knew that Tim was a person who would never change his ways for anyone. She censured his mother’s carping to the teachers for the way he turned out to be. If Tim’s mother wasn’t always too busy complaining on how harsh the teachers were being to her “sweet little honeysuckle,” then maybe she would’ve realized that her son was in need of serious discipline. Even though Tim was in high school, he does not yet understand that people, too, have feelings.

“Hey, you know that humans are supposed to shower everyday right?” Tim asked.

Kathy’s face turned red as ripe as a tomato. She hadn’t expected that her “perfect day” would be ruined oh so horribly. She found Tim’s remark to be so caustic that she ran to the girls’ bathroom thinking of it as her cache from the humility she had to face in the hallway in front of her friends. Kathy covered her mouth with one hand and screamed as loudly as she could for cathartic relief. Just then, her friend Allison came into cajole her to come out and give Tim a taste of his own medicine.

Kathy looked at Allison and hugged her, right before she ferociously marched out into the hallways, where everyone was still laughing and giggling a bit, nonetheless however, she did not capitulate.

“You are the catalyst for all the stink and stupidity in mankind Tim Milford!” shouted Kathy.

Suddenly, the hallway went in total silence as many people had a shocked look on their face. Some stared at Kathy with celestial wonder for whom she had just stood up to. Tim was speechless, and all Kathy thought in her mind was I’m not ruining my day for something so absurd and stupid stated by Tim.

How exactly is the best way to remove Catalytic Converter?

I have decided to remove the Catalytic Converter on my 1995 Ford Escort 1.9L Auto hatchback. When i get it off, it is going to be tested to see: 1) What the engine does (it isnot seized oroverheated but it had exhaust gases backing up so im gonna see where it remains, it sounded bad like a sawzall the last time it did run, but it did run) and 2) how the Cat looks and what to do with it.



The remedy to the cat will be one of the three: 1) Drilling it out and putting it back on, 2) putting a pipe where it was and leaving it off, 3) fitting a universal Cat. I am not concerned with inspection until it comes time i can have one put on right, this is the no-money get-the-car-to-run repair. (If the engine couldnt breathe to cause the sawzall sopund, it should get power and not die when the gas is pressed like it was doing. Fuel Pump is not it, andthe next suspect is Cat. -Then- we look at Timing and plugs.) I am not concerned w the Cat being 'legal' only 'working' until i can revisit it just before an inspection.



So i do wonder what the best way to remove itis. The options range from Blowtorching (scrapyard style, cars on forklifts) to sawzalling (welding back on in either case, they do it and just cover the fuel lines) to removing the blots. One guy wants to remove body pieces to get to it, since it may be rusted. I would like to know the best/easiest method to remove, this is a Mobile Mechanic situation. It just is. Im wondering so we can do it the best.



Also, how do i clear Code 0182, which my car has? And that means Exhaust or EGR, yes?



And is it easy to change liftersor valves in an engine? Yes? No?

Some people have been known to cut the pipe behind the converter then take a long steel pipe and ram it into the converter,breaking away the honeycomb structure.When then started,the exhaust gasses blow out the debris and it is then clear.

2007 Civic EX automatic non-engine performance mods?

Hey guys i am looking to change the handling a bit on my Civic, i realize that the engine mods (CA intakes and Short Rams) have marginal performance improvements so i am trying to improve the handling and braking of my car before i approach that stuff. Before all the flamers start, i realize that it would void my warranty and im going to wait until that's up before i do anything.

Questions:

1. What should i look for in suspension upgrades and how can i tell if i am getting a quality product?

2. What should i look for in the braking department?

3. What exactly do sway and strut bars do? are they worth it?

4. Any other suggestions?

First you want quality parts. That said you need to set costs and goals.Braking should be the first consideration. Gas slotted Stainless rotors and ceramic pads are probably a good starting point. Tire upgrades are probably next you won't stop any faster if your narrow tires can't transfer friction to the ground. Gas shocks and struts next. You need to be able to keep your new tires on the ground. Frame connectors and front and rear strut bars are probably next they take some of the body flex out. Progressive rate sport springs next. Remember you are working on a %26quot;driver%26quot; so don't stiffen it too much or it wont be fun to drive.Also don't make it stop too well. Some insurance companies will think your building an accident waiting to happen. Light weight wheels help cut down rotating mass making braking and accelerating quicker.Whether a part is worth the cost depends on the price divided by the number of%26quot;smiles per gallon.%26quot; Enjoy yourself.2007 Civic EX automatic non-engine performance mods?
1 - Don't go to ebay for your products. Look for quality name brands like eibach.



2 - Brakes are pretty much straightforward. There's the cheap ones and the expensive ones. Not sure on name brands.



3 - Sway bars are bars that reinforce the frame to that are supposed to improve handling. I've never had them in my car so I can't say I know how much they improve handling. Struts are the pneumatic shocks on the car and replacing them will certainly improve handling. You don't want to just put new coilovers on your stock struts, as this can wear them out pretty fast.



4 - Don't go overboard. The plans you have in mind are tasteful, but it is very easy to look tacky in a civic (or any car) with too many mods.2007 Civic EX automatic non-engine performance mods?

the lug nuts are 4x100. the rear lights are fairly esay to change. the ride hieght without modifying is the stock wells. which are 14 or 15 depending on what model you have. the strut bars only go into effect when you turn it help the chasis not roll as much. its not really anything you feel to much if at all. the mods will free up some ponies.

the LS is non VTEC the GS-R has VTEC those are the only real differneces between the two.97 integra questions (REVISED)?

    Ok, I am working on a problem where I need to get multiple numebrs from the user, multiple differnt times, it is a recursive thing...

    What I am doing specifically is a mobiles problem, Which is a string, with a strut and 2 weights, or more mobiles, and there can be multiple mobiles.



    My problem is, in doing this the first time the user clicks the submit button, it needs to take the answers he gave me and call the recursive function, now that recursive function is going to call itself, getting more values from the user, the problem is, it doesnt get more values from the user, it just gets stuck in an infiite loop because it uses the current values (it was no reason to wait for the user to change his values and hit submit again) so how can i make it so that the function stops, and waits for the new values to be entered and submit to be pressed again, before attepting to call itself again?Visual basic, how to pause a function while waitin for a button to be clicked in a GUI?

    1999 VT Commodore - need help with terminology of parts?

    Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me out with the following terminology as I'm researching how to change my front and rear radius rod bushes and have noticed that certain parts have more than one name...



    Are the following types of bushes all the same thing?

    - radius rod bushes

    - castor bushes

    - z-bar bushes



    If they are the same thing, does that mean the radius rod, castor (or castor bar?), and z-bar are all the same thing?



    Are any of the following parts the same, or all completely different? Any labelled diagrams of the underside of a car would be very helpful.

    - radius rods

    - control arm

    - strut

    - k-frame



    I've also read about a lower control arm - is there an upper control arm?



    Lastly, if I was to change the front radius rod bushes, would doing the rear radius rod bushes be pretty much the same? Is either end more difficult?

    The easiest answer I can give (And the same answer I have given to each one of your questions) is



    BUY A GREGORYS MANUAL.



    Most people can explain all these answers to you, but unless you have a picture of the items in front of you, it will make no difference me telling you that the Z bar attaches to the front of the car, and goes back to the lower control arm, which attaches to the K frame. There is no upper control arm on any commodore because they all have a mcpherson strut.



    Honestly. Buy a manual, open to the front suspension page and get a full break down of the whole front suspension.

    Two questions about a 2000 Escort ZX2 2.0L?

    1) At high speeds (70mph+) the battery light comes on and the headlights dim. Same thing on quick accelerations. Let off the gas and things go back to normal. Has new battery as of last winter. My first thought was the alternator. I replaced it last year as well, but it's a junk yard alternator so you never know. I took it to Advanced Auto to have the charging/starting/battery checked. All came out 100%. Why is the light coming on?



    I also changed the neg battery terminal. There was a power cable for an amp/subs on there at one time. That cable has since been removed, but the bigger terminal was still there. I replaced that today with a smaller one.



    2) Where the heck is the tensioner pulley on that car? I see two pulleys that look like it. One is right in the center of the motor, the other in towards the front but down low. The one in the center is impossible to get a socket one because the strut bracket is in the way. The other is down way too low to reach as well. How in the heck do I remove the belt so I can change the alternator if I can't find/loosen the tensioner pulley?Two questions about a 2000 Escort ZX2 2.0L?
    Sounds like a belt tensioner problem. Alternator is not that hard to do, I recently had to change mine on my ZX2, its easier to get to the bolts on bottom from underneath on the alternator though. Your problem could be as simple as a new belt is needed. If there is oil leaking on your belt , then that will cause it to slip as well. Here is a diagram of the belt , as they dont put one on the ZX2, and when you remove the belt, its hard to remember as its jammed in there.

    sounds like the belt may be slipping, the tensioner is hard to access, the real trick to that particular belt replacement is the routing of the belt, make shure you have a diagram or draw a picture or make a mental note it has a funny routeTwo questions about a 2000 Escort ZX2 2.0L?
    And yet again marvin beats me to the punch but yes he is right. Altenator is at the back kind of a pain as marvin said and the tensioner is the one your thinking of use a wrench it will work its magic for you on loosening the tensioner. Or try a belt tool works greta for those tights spots, no pun intended

    HELP, STOP THE SQUEAKING!!!?

    I drive a 1994 Camaro that we recently replaced all the front suspension components on (all the upper and lower control arm bushings and the upper and lower ball joints). It drove great and still does but out of no where the right front end began to squeak very loudly, especially when the front end moves up and down or turns. It also squeaks when i push the front end up and down. I sprayed every bushing, the sway bar, the sway bar mounts, the struts, etc. with silicone and the squeak did not change if not became louder. Is the right front ball joint??? Is there something i need to lube that i may have missed???? How can I stop the SQUEAKING???HELP, STOP THE SQUEAKING!!!?
    my friend's Mit. Montero had the same problem with the continuous squeaking. What we did to her truck was greasing the ball joints. that might stop the squeaking in your car. after u run it turn the wheels left and right many times and drive it a lil so the grease penetrates into the ball joint

    I am about to set my car on fire. The camera is rolling. I have coated the interior with propane and sprayed it with that flammable stuff that comes in a spray can. I put a whole lot of gasolineon the outside, but i waxed it first because i like my paint job.



    I did my best to poke a hole in the gas line and make sure it is half full, and also weaken the steel to make it go Boom. I need to be standing kinda close to it to film it because i have no zoom lens, so i got a bulletproof vest and a snuggie blankey under a plastic tarp. This is going to be sweet.



    What inspired me to do this is I cant shoot, set fire, blowtorch, sawzall, or kick the strut out, or have Obama mail me a new strut from the Stimilus bill (***,) so i need to know how to actually do it. Im removing the tires as we speak.



    I also wonder if I can use my fire extinguisher and some water to put it out if i change my mind after or halfway through the explosion, and how the best way to aviod overheating my engine will be.

    Rattling sound on my mazda protege?

    i have a 99 mazda protege that i got from my friend. 123k miles. runs well. I had all the struts replaced about 2 months ago after hearing a terrible rattling sound.

    Now, when I drive I'm beginning to hear a slight rattle. It sounds as if it's mostly when I go over a bump.     hmmm that's a good question. it does sound like the struts, but you said they were replaced. As long as your temperatures are fine I don't think you have anything to worry about. You may have a loose strut or a bolt might have come loose. I wonder if your timing is off.

    91 honda accor cv half-axle repair issue?

    I replaced a broken strut coil, upper ball joint and cv half-axle (all on the driver side). I ensured I got the axle to engage properly. took the car for a road test - all good. Next morning I start-off to work, take a right hand turn and that's it, car has no drive. Get it home, looks like the half-axle is not in as far as it should be. Spoke with parts store, they confirm the part number is correct. I really don't see how any of the front suspension geometry can have changed as there was no adjustment... since I did replace the coil on strut, I'm wondering if the damper plate on the strut is offset and didn't go back correctly (I was using the coil impression on the rubber gasket for orientation, it did pop-out on assembly) although the 3-bolt pattern appears centered. Wouldn't the plate be marked if certain orientation was required? and I don't see that changing the distance at hub, only affecting the angle. Anyone have experience or advise on this issue.

    There's isn't a whole lot you can do but recheck the part number with a couple different parts stores. NAPA is the store of choice for me. OEM replacement axles are actually stronger and more resistant to twist during take-off than many of the after market half shafts you can buy now. I've replaced several. Sounds like you didn't flush the shaft far enough into the trans and it vibrated out. Tap it in with a rubber hammer and visually check with your eyes and fingers for flushness. I would have done equal work on each side of the vehicle to keep from replacing parts at different times, and to keep ride heights level. Did the shaft get damaged at all the next day? If it didn't and it's the right part number, then try it one more time, you know how to do it, so it won't take as long. I've had the wrong parts issued to me before, it's very common.     I just got my 2001 Hyundai Elantra inspected here in PA. The mechanic told me that one of my front struts is leaking. It's not required for inspection that I get it replaced, but he recommends it. They are charging $450 to replace both front struts. This is after a $550 charge for an oil change, inspection, back brakes (needed to pass inspection) and windshield wipers (needed to pass inspection).



    Do I really need new struts right now? Or can I have some time to recover financially? And are those fair prices?

    4 new KYB GR-2 struts cost $224 plus shipping. If the shop is using that brand then $450 is a rip off to replace 2 struts, I'd get another quote, and then another quote if you supply the materials.     Go with the stock (OEM) equipment. The car companies spend a lot of money to figure the best ride. Lowering or rasiing the car can cause issues with alignment and mileage.

    Honda civic front bumper issue?

    ok i just bought a 94 civic dx 2dr coupe for 500. With that said im not complaing on anywork i need to do cuz the car runs %26amp; drives and so far all i have had to change was the driver side half shaft and rear struts. Well my question is that the front bumper is aboit 1in down on the drivers side but looks fine on the passenger side.Story has it that the car was takin off road at 70mph. I know the core support is bent slightly up in the middle witch is causing the drivers side and not the passenger side to be off.     any modification will not last long, in my experience. Koni are good sport struts, i've used those to good benefit. you can get adjustable or regular. monroe makes a good stock strut, that's wht you'd get at most places. just get a gas strut, and you'll be okay for a nice ride.Which shocks/struts should I buy?     I don't know the year/make and or model of car, but you can go to www.autozone.com, type in the year/make/model/engine of most cars, trucks or vans and click on repair info on left side and then on vehichle repair guides in middle of page and get most repair manuals online.I need help finding a web site?     Is your car over head valve or OHC. Is the engine strait or %26quot;V%26quot; (V6, V8) configuration... If your are lucky, the car (truck) is strait over head valve. then it will be as simple as removing the exhaust manifild, gas lines maybe some wire conections, vacume hoses and valve cover then you may unbolt the head take it to a machine shop and have it checked/surfaced. You will need to clean all the antifreeze out of the cylinders and clean the block maiting surface. You need info on head torque specs and tightning patern. If the care is newer and %26quot;V%26quot; config and OHC you have to remove the vally (intake manifold) and two exhaust manifolds plus timing chains/belts on %26quot;V%26quot; configs you need do BOTH heads. I would recomend you take it to a mechanic, because this can get hairy for a light weight and some one with a full set of teeth ;-)

    I went to a general chain to get my oil changed, as the local place was decently rated and priced. I am at 66K miles, and they did what I asked them to but told me that I should take a look at the shocks and struts, power steering fluid, and transmission fluid. I recently had a tune-up at 60K miles by my mom's trusted mechanic...so I am not even sure that what the chain diagnosed may be true. Anyway, I would never do any major auto work outside of oil changes at a chain.

    I think they're doing some of the work just to make money and not all of it is required. The %26quot;leaky shocks and struts%26quot; sounds very suspicious, since only one might show a leak very rarely on modern cars and not both front and back. I would guess you don't need them.     Leaky shocks and struts by MEPS standards, are leaking so heavily they leave a spot on the ground. Normal seepage that collects dust is just that- NORMAL. 66k on a Honda? As far as suggesting flushes on the trans fluid, power steering fluid, coolant, and brake fluid, this is more than likely based on manufacturer's recommendation to INSPECT fluid level and condition at the 60k mileage interval. Your complaint, and my experience with working for Firestone for 9 years makes me feel like this question has Firestone written all over it. Struts are relatively expensive on the Hondas, and the labor doesn't do much good for your wallet either. Pushing for fluid flushes is a Firestone trademark, and reaching for struts that have normal seepage? Was probably a slow day down there for the flat rate guys. keep your money. Your car is fine. As for transmission flushing, as a reputable transmission shop. Even they will tell you that a transmission flush is the worst thing you can ever do to a transmission.     Lower arm needs to be jacked up tire off

    jack under the arm holding the spring unbolt the lower arm- -slowly lower the spring out

    replace the lower arm - reverse to replace it.



    The strut

    Take the tire off

    remove all the caliper/rotor

    2 bolts holding the strut on

    and the 3 under the hood.

    take it to a shop to swap the spring

    replace.



    Get a front and rear alignment when your done.

    I have a 2.4L Stratus with 89,000 miles and would like some average prices for a brake and strut job. For the brakes, I hope to change the pads, calipers, fluid, and rotors. For the struts, I plan on purchasing Monroe struts for all four wheels. All other maintenance has been performed. Any help would be appreciated, including prices, parts, etc. Thanks to the dodgeman for my last question, the blinking dash was caused by the dash not being fully plugged into its harness.How much would these services cost on a 2005 Dodge Stratus(please read detail)?
    your looking at about 350 for the front ones if you change all the parts out that you listed and about 450 for the struts and labor on installing them and that should count realigning the front end on it also,the total bil shouldn't exceed 850 bucks and that's counting labor and parts,i did an 03 model about a week ago and almost did the identical same things to it and the bill on it was around 849.00,and that was doing all 4 wheel brakes on it,but i didn't have to replace the rear calipers or rotors on it,just turn them and replace the pads,what your talking about is good days work for most shops now days,if they try and charge you any more than 6-7 hours labor that's to much,one good day is all they need on it,if you buy the parts it going to be a lot less,but still expect to be out at least 7 hours labor on it,and depending on their labor rates you could be out as much as 4-500.00 bucks just for labor,most shops don't like it when you bring in parts for them to install so they,ll try and stick you with a few extra hours labor to make up for the profit they could have made on the parts,sad but that's the way a lot of shops are now days,good luck on it and glad the other problem got straitened out on it,How much would these services cost on a 2005 Dodge Stratus(please read detail)?

    Nissan Altima Repairs ... How crucial ?

    I am in process of buying a 97 nissan altima , 120k , the quote is $2800. I got it checked from mechanic and he suggested following repairs.



    1) Strut Assembly

    2) Strut Mounts

    3) Motor Mounts

    4) Flat Belts

    5) Valve Cover Gasket, cover, outer

    6) Valve Cover Gasket, spark plug, inner

    7) flat P/S flush

    8) flat tranny flush

    9) flat coolant flush

    10) axle shaft seals



    In all repairs worth 1900 $ including labour. I understand the motor mounts and struts .. but are other things required. how crucial are they. This might be a little bit silly as you havent seen the car, but still any suggestions.



    The biggest cost in all is motor mounts. It costs about 900 including labour. They have never been changed in 120k. The car does vibrate a bit due to that, but if i dont change them what will be the effects ?



    While driving, other then a little vibration the car drives pretty ok.

    Have a good look at the previous driver, was it a kid that thought he had a hot rod? Or was it a person who never maintained it, which seems to be the case. The machanic told you only what he could see, so how do you know there isn't something about to go out inside the engine like a spun crank bearing or a cracked valve guide?



    I would suggest looking for a different vehicle for the price they are asking.



    Unless you are like uncle moneybags and don't mind wasting the money on labor and parts which will make the cars price up in the $5-6k range. I am sure that you can find a better value out there for your money.Nissan Altima Repairs ... How crucial ?
    No way it needs all that. My kid's 97 has 185K on it and hasn't needed any of that. Original axles, seals, gaskets, struts. Check the drive belts, see if it leaves much of a stain on the driveway overnight and just drive it.

    Do you know this mechanic? Ask another mechanic, if he says the same thing, buy a different car for $4000.00 that doesn't need all this work.

    Nissans are good cars, if you do go through with the repairs, the car will probably last you a very long time. But, imports, as you know, are incredibly expensive to repair when something does go wrong.



    I'm no mechanic, but the coolant flush is not necessary. You should not get the tranny flushed either, unless you notice significant problems in shifting.



    I really don't know about the rest. I'd say for that year and that kind of mileage, you are probably getting a good deal buy paying $2800 for the car and getting the repairs done on top of that. Having said that, I would probably do it, but also be prepared to drive the car into the ground, because if you decide to sell it, you will not get out of it what you put into it, as far as a sale price goes.



    If this is really causing you to struggle with a decision, I would not hesitate to take it somewhere else for a second (or even third) opinion. You will surely find out if you are getting scammed or not. If you happen to decide to follow through with all of the recommended repairs, it's not like you have to get everything done at once either. Nothing on that list is incredibly pressing, but I guess it's importance depends on what you intend to use the vehicle for.
