ok, so there is a Formal Dance Party next weekend, and I'd really like to get a date.
But the problem is.. I have an issue with getting dates.
So I'm one of those girls that doesn't take crap. When I see a boy I like, I don't try and play hard to get and get him jealous.
I just go up to him and start a conversation.
Is that wrong? Do boys like girls that like to strut their stuff?
I really don't want to post pictures of myself on the internet, but when I ask real people I know they just tell me positive things-- obviously trying to make me feel better.
So I want the dead truth, people. :]

Am I intimidating-looking? Should I wear less makeup, or change my style of clothes?
(People say I looked younger than I am-- that's why I started wearing makeup.. )

You are really pretty and yes you are a little intimidating. But if you look more friendly and smile at guys that you like more they will feel better about talking with you, I know I would feel better if a girl smiled at me more during our talk. Edit:I'm sorry i got so caught up in calling you hot i did not answer your question. Your biggest problem is going to be seeming approachable. Instigate conversations with guys. Smile at them and don't put them down. If you need to just ask one. be serious and they will say yes. No questions asked.
