The lower arm is a wishbone which is bolted onto the car and is not a big job but male torx bit sockets are needed for the ball joint bolt. The strut top mounting does require special tools as the road spring needs to be clamped and compressed. In total about 1 and 1/2 hours to do both jobs.Hope this helpsHow big a job is it to change a lower arm and a strut top on the nearside on a ford ka?
